I've been experiencing this issue for a month or so. I was using the camera and I received a message of some memory error, but was able to continue taking pictures. Then I realized that the pictures were not showing up in the gallery.

First, go to File manager > Settings > Show hidden files > then rename the folder .nomedia to .adc. Then restart your phone and remove the SD card directly without unmounting. Then reinsert it to the phone during switch on and watch. By default, it will scan the SD card and show media in the gallery and music.

I have an app which enables the user to take a video (.mp4) or pick existing one. If taking a video, the video is saved to a public directory and I triggered the Android to scan the file to add it to media gallery.

Problem is, taking the video is working fine, I can preview the finished video just fine in my app. But this same video won't appear in media gallery and won't be accessible by other apps -except the FileManager-, even though other .mp4 in the same folder appear in the list just fine.

I know all the options of having OTG key to get the video or photo material transfer off drone memory card, once landed.
Or option of switching to the DJI app for getting into drones phtoo video gallery for download.
Or also option to download the material from drone to smart device, without connected RC, just straight with fly app from drone, to gsm device.

Please Note: You can only add videos directly to your media gallery for a specific course via the app. You can add media from your My Media to your Media Gallery but you cannot add new media to My Media.

To download pictures from WhatsApp, go to the conversation with the picture and look for the download icon (the down arrow) next to the file size (i.e. 56KB). Tap the download icon to save the picture to your gallery. Alternatively, you can create a backup of all your WhatsApp chats and photos.

I regularly use CCleaner on my android phone without any problems but recently it unfortunately deleted all my photos and videos. I'm not sure what exactly I hit in order to do this but I know I watched an advertisement video in order to use the feature that's normally only available through the pro subscription service. I then used a file recovery app to try to get my photos and videos back but unfortunately it has messed things up, duplicated files and put everything in one single folder, removed previous folders and jumbled all my photos up in a random order and I'm no longer able to order them by date. Also because it was duplicating files my phone ran out of memory before everything was recovered so photos and videos are still missing. My question is...is there any way to totally reverse all this and get everything back the way it was before they were deleted by CCleaner? I would really appreciate your help.

Do you think users find videos more relevant than images in product image gallery of an ecommerce app and videos should be the first thing users should be seeing on landing on the product page of any product rather than a product image?
