Step 1: Sign in to your OneDrive on the web, and locate the large file/files you want to share.
Step 2: Select the large file, then hit the Share tab on the upper side of the ribbon. If you want to share large files, you can create a folder and add those large files to it, and then share that folder directly.

Although creating a sharing link is helpful, it is not that easy to send large files up to 250GB (the cap of file-sharing on OneDrive) securely. If you have a large file or large files to share, this would lead to a risky position of your shared files.

I would like to say I am very much an idiot when it comes to computers and Microsoft and all things in general. The last time I had used a laptop was years ago and it was a windows 7. Windows 10 is obviously way different and confusing. I had saved some shows on my laptop and it synced in OneDrive. at first I was okay with it but then my storage filled up and now it won't let me use Microsoft Word because there's no storage left. I don't really wanna buy more storage. I'd just like to have those files on my laptop. I don't need to access it from multiple different devices. The feature was nice for a while but now I can't use Word and I need it for college.

SDK is now deprecated. -us/onedrive/developer/rest-api/api/driveitem_createuploadsession?view=odsp-graph-onlineYou can use Microsoft graph and OneDriveAPI to upload files to OneDriveOneDriveAPI support simple upload for small file (

As described in the title I would like to exclude some files from syncing to my (personal) OneDrive to save some space.I have some folders that I wish to sync but in some of them there are quite large video files which I do not want to sync.

Then in the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) go to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> All Settings and find Exclude specific kinds of files from being uploaded. Now there you can specify specific file types or file names to ignore.

Another tool to bear in mind is the SharePoint web interface which is accessible by browsing to the document library / OneDrive library through a web browser. This interface is quite limited when it comes to file/folder operations but is significantly quicker when it comes to large move or copy operations from one library to another or when moving folders within the same library.

If you are expecting OneDrive to sync a very large number of files and folders then expect to wait a long time. A very long time. We have had jobs which can take months to complete so be prepared to manage your client expectations about how long their project might take. Where the bottleneck is and why it take so long, I have no idea but patience is very important.

This sounds somewhat unexpected to me though tbh. While I think large files will cause trouble, the process of downloading a file from FTP, then uploading it to OneDrive should still work like so:

Now the flow runs, reads from a database
Creates a backup on the remote system via SSH.
Creates a new folder on OneDrive,
Transfers the backup file from host to new OneDrive folder using rclone as it handles big files best.
and a few other bits and bobs.

How often your C drive is full? Users want to move large files between drives to free up disk space. You may try copying and pasting on the general level, but it may fail if you have very large files to transfer.

For honing the best way to transfer large files, EaseUS Todo PCTrans now updates the large file cleanup function, supporting moving files larger than 20MB to another drive (partition root and custom directories).

Step 3. When the scan completes, files larger than 20M will be listed. Choose the wanted files and target drive to move. (You can choose the triangle icon to select destination or click "Browse" to pick the wanted place.)

Except for the large file transfer to a different drive, EaseUS Todo PCTrans also works for moving large files from one computer to another. You need to choose the "PC to PC" mode and pick the wanted files.

EaseUS Todo PCTrans runs smoothly in moving large files from one hard drive to another without time-wasting and system broken. We are expecting this new feature to help you. Send us an email if you have any questions.
