Pléd Navahů Na plédu Navahů se vždy nachází jistá nedokonalost vetkaná v rohu. A co je zajímavé: je to místo, kudy „vstupuje a vystupuje Duch“. Tkaný vzor je dokonalý, jen na jednom místě to zřetelně vypadá jako chyba. Semitské myšlení, východní myšlení (kterému byl mimochodem Ježíš asi daleko blíže) chápou dokonalost právě tímto způsobem. Dokonalost není vyloučením nedokonalosti. To je naše západní myšlení „buď – anebo“, které potřebuje vše ovládat. Dokonalost je spíše schopností začlenit nedokonalost! A není jiné cesty jak žít: buď začlenit nedokonalost, nebo propadnout odmítání. Takto z nás vystupuje, nebo do nás vstupuje Duch.

That’s our Western either/or, need-to-control thinking. Perfection, rather, is the ability to incorporate imperfection! There’s no other way to live: You either incorporate imperfection, or you fall into denial.
