used racing slicks

long shot...

was riding the bicycle home from work last night and passed a large construction dumpster on Elston ave just north of Belmont.  There were a few moto tires poking out the top, and I stopped and checked them out, they're used racing slicks, Racing Battleax V02,  date code 1921.  one front (120/xx-17) and three rears  (200/xx-17).  brought them home of course.  free trash is free trash.

would anyone reading this know anything about them?  I know, long shot.

Good on you for taking them out of the dumpster. (Folks really need to deal with used tires properly- landfill is not it) I personally have a small tire wall off my patio (Plan on using them as planters). Not interested in take offs but someone else maybe. Though, 2021 is old for any tire. The Racing Battlax V02 tires from Bridgestone use a multi-compound construction to optimize performance. They typically feature a combination of:

Soft compound for excellent cornering grip. (side)
Medium compound for better resistance to abrasion and longer wear life (center)
