Happy Labor Day to the group!

I have a '73 CB350 that has been sitting for 10 weeks. I left it with a fresh tune-up and a full tank of gas. When I tried to kickstart it this morning, I had no resistance to the kickstarter. I checked the plugs, both were in tight. Any ideas on what to try next? Thanks!

Did the engine turn over or did it just slip down?

If the engine didn't turn, then your clutch is slipping.

Bump start, maybe the kick is disengaged some how?  Is she in neutral?

I spent 1/2 an hour once trouble shooting a computer only to find it wouldnt start the OS cuz a floppy disk was in the drive.  Sometimes it's the stupidest of things.

Anything beyond that, someone else might post up.

I know on my CB360 it will only kick start if the bike is in neutral and the clutch is engaged (clutch lever out).

Since the kickstart depends on the clutch, if the clutch is slipping from being worn or something, then your kickstart wont work either.

Besides not having resistance could you hear the engine turn over at all?
