I have a VersaHaul (http://www.versahaul.com/) that has carried my Ducati from Chicago to North Carolina twice and to West Virginia once with absolutely zero problems. Also many shorter hops with all three of my bikes...one at a time of course. And I will admit to hauling my bike to TWALD on it a few times as well. I'm old so cut me some slack. No license fees and stores out of the way on my garage wall when not in use. I got mine because I don't feel I can safely get my bikes in and out the back of my pickup by myself and I like being self sufficient. It's pretty easy to use the VersaHaul by myself. The VersaHual also has a device that clamps the hauler tightly to the hitch receiver so it doesn't wobble like many of the cheap brands do. Looks like the Mototote has something similar. So although I don't have personal experience with the Mototote I can recommend the concept. Also it is essential you have a proper manly vehicle to use them on since the tongue weight will be the cantelevered weight of your bike on the hitch receiver. Although I can certainly "feel" the weight on the back when driving, my 400 pound Duc and Norton are no problem on my Ford F-150 as long as the road is smooth. I don't think they would work very well on something like a small SUV or Subaru. Or with a 900 pound Harley.

Similar review here. I have one. Not a mototote. Don't remember the brand. Similar anti wobble deal. It's gone through mountains and across the country with an sr500 strapped on. I've hauled bikes here and there for a couple years. Front wheels are a little lighter in my short wheelbase wrangler but the hauler has held up nicely.
