Lightweight rain gear recommendations anyone?

Hi. 
  Going on an adventure and packing light.  Can anyone recommend some rain gear that is easy to pack and keeps you dry??

27 years in wastewater treatment has taught me a lot of things and one of them is that eventually everything leaks. 

That said I've had good luck with the suits I've gotten from Firstgear. I like them enough that I bought an extra jacket to wear at work because it's nicer than the stuff they issue me at work. 

Consider treating your riding gear with one of the commercially avaliable water proofing kits. I use the one that Aerostitch sells on their website and it works pretty good.
