Two months until track day

The annual vintage track day at Blackhawk Farms hosted by our friends at Motovid.com is two months away. Due to the wide variety of skill levels and equipment that show up for this thing you must have prior track experience to sign up.

While this event was originally set up 20 years ago as a track day for old bikes it's kinda transmogrified into a "island of misfit toys" track day. Old bikes, motards, dual sports (no knobbies!), everything but the typical track day supersport type stuff. Just keep in mind that you're going to be sharing the track with people on CB160s who will embarrass you in the corners.

This is a great opportunity for racers to get some on track data collection, check jetting and timing, break in new tires, etc. This is not a race practice though so keep in mind 6 foot passing rules are in effect.

For racers seeking to advance their education the Advanced Basics 301 group still has openings. 101 and 201 are sold out.
