Issues I have been facing with WordPress 1.5 on hindini

This is the localized release, Raman Kaul bhai had worked with kubrick
as default theme.I am new to php based applications and I need to
rectify the following issues –

1) I do not see the effect of enter key when I post a message – I end
up inserting the BR tag.

2) I need to show the name of the writer at the end of the post – How
do I do it.

3) How can I change the look and feel of Hindini – Is there any skin
option I can use and/or implement within the kubrick theme! Or will I
have to get under the hood, modify the php and all that?

4) Jitu Bhai had given me his header.php file which I may implement
after these issues are rectified.

I need help!

Swami ji,

1) The problem with <enter> pertains to WP and not to Kubrick. I had
this problem too, when I was using a nightly, but with the proper
release 1.5 this problem should not be there.

2) You don't need to know php to edit the files, I don't either. In
your wordpress नियन्त्रण पटल (dashboard), click
प्रदर्शन (Presentation) tab, then
अभिकल्प संपादक (Theme editor). From the
dropdown box, choose "Wordpress Default" and then click
"चुनें". From the list on the right, choose मुख्य
खाका and edit the following line.

<!-- by <?php the_author() ?> -->
to
लेखक <?php the_author() ?>
or something like that.

3. From the प्रदर्शन (Presentation) tab you can choose
any other design to see what options you have. If you only need to
change the picture on top, name your new image file "kubrickheader.jpg"
or "personalheader.jpg" and drop it in
../wp-content/themes/kubrick/images/ . See the following post from

Pankaj Bhai & Raman Bhai,

Thank you for the quick response!
I will try the suggested tips on Hindini.
I will try the theme option in a seperate setup and will the implement
it on hindini.

I can't wait to try out these things tonight ... I'll keep you posted .. :-)
