ड़ ढ़ और ड़ ढ़

पड़ और पढ़ मे ये दो अक्षर है :
ड़ =ड़ (यूनिकोड value)
ढ़=ढ़ (यूनिकोड value)

लेकेन केसी ने सुझाव दिया था कि
इन्हे ऐसे भी लिख सकते है :

प ड ़ और प ढ ़

इस तरह से लिखे जाने पर जो दो
अक्षर बने, उनकी यूनिकोड value ये है :
ड़=ड़
ढ़=ढ़

क्योकि ये दोनो ऐसे बने है :-
ड + ़ = ड़
ड ़ ड़

ढ + ़ = ढ़
ढ ़ ढ़

sorting मे सही नही बैठेगे

चूँकि हिन्दी मैनुअल टाइपराइटर में ड के नीचे नुक्ता लगाकर ड़ बनाया जाता
है,
चूँकि ISCII-1991 standards में भी ऐसा ही होता आया था,
चूँकि (बाद में) युनिकोड 5.0 में नुक्तायुक्त वर्णों की encoding हुई,

इसलिए लोगों को नुक्ता जोड़ कर ही क़ ख़ .... ड़ ढ़ लिखने का अभ्यास है।

अतः इसके लिए विशेष स्पेलचेकर प्रोग्राम के विकिसित होने की प्रतीक्षा
है--

i agree with you completely .. it is a way to get the characters to
appear similar .. i was just confirming whether in sorting order it
will appear at different positions ..

e.g. "ace" will appear at a different place than "Ace" .. in a sorting
of data

thank you for the links to the facts on the ground .. i'm wading thru
the huge amount of material on computing based on hindi

(i try to avoid discussions and controversies .. and would take this
opportunity to request all friends here to always remember that i
am old enough to avoid the disturbances in the threads casued
by "flame issues" .. so if something sometimes appears to be
argumentative from my side, please point out .. so that i can
retract quickly .. and avoid misunderstandings, hurting feelings, etc)

please allow me one more post on this .. my question arose because
when i was finalizing the layout on i1.htm based inputter 2 years
back
and the AxrHiKy.htm based keyboard layout, i wanted to drop the two
letters (although they appear on the unicode definition as separate
characters with separate hex and decimal values) .. the two letters
could be punched in by adding the dot to the other two letters

but the issue of date being recorded in the &#x????; format in
many
webpages and also in many documents made me re-think .. and so
i had to decide to keep them in the inputting method

strangely, these two letters do NOT figure on the inscript layout
finalized
by our own people and now included in WinXp's virtual keyboard layout

(how in the world can accurate inputting be done in unicode for data
on
internet and other places .. for accurate sorting, searching,
indexing, spell
checking if the characters are missing because there were insufficient
keys
on the keyboard .. so i had to drop some other letters but keep these
very
frequently appearing letters in the i1.htm and the AxrHiKy.htm)

शायद दूर की बात है।

सिर्फ "येन केन प्रकारेण" कविता कहानी ब्लॉग पर छाप लेना, ब्लॉग बना
लेना, एग्रीगेटर संचालित कर लेना ही वह सब कुछ नहीं है, जिसे
"कम्प्यूटिंग" कहा जाता है।

मूल कारण है भारतीय लिपियों के (ISCII/Unicode) वर्ण-कूट निर्धारण में
कुछ मौलिक त्रुटि का रह जाना, जिसका निवारण फिलहाल लगभग असम्भव सा लगता
