DREAM Act Event Oct. 25

CHISPAS members, 

We hope you all are having a wonderful fall semester and are enjoying the cold front coming through this week. 

We want to invite you all to attend our next event, After the Vote: A Conversation About and Reaction to the DREAM Act, on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. at the UF Law School in room HOL 285C. The event, which we are co-sponsoring with the UF Black Law Students Association, will consist of an insightful discussion on the DREAM Act. 

Professor King will open the event by commenting on the legal implications of the DREAM Act. Manuel Guerra, a DREAM Act activist, will then share his personal testimony on the struggles he has encountered as an immigrant.

Free food will be served.
