Hello CHISPAS, 

We hope you all had a wonderful first week of classes! 

 

As you settle into the fall semester, we want to remind you that cabinet applications are out. The following positions are available: PR Assistant, Membership Director, Assistant External Director, Fundraising Director and Historian. All of these positions offer a great deal of leadership and volunteer opportunities, as well as a chance to be part of a national movement. 

CHISPAS aims to raise awareness, educate and address the pressing issues of the immigrant community. We also cover broad issues like equality for all, fair food justice and human trafficking. 

We encourage everyone to apply as we will be adding sub-committees to our cabinet--meaning everyone will get a chance to help plan and program the up-coming school year. 

Remember, applications are due by 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10.

We hope to see you all at our first general body meeting Wednesday Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. in Room 286 of the Reitz Union.
