Hello CHISPAS members,
We hope you are having a great semester so far.
We want to remind you that Hispanic Heritage Month will be hosting a forum about immigration tomorrow Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Rion Ballroom in the Reitz Union. The keynote speaker at the event will be Dr. William Perez, immigration scholar and author of We Are Americans: Undocumented Students Pursuing the American Dream.
There will also be spoken word poetry by Mauro Perez.
We invite you all to come out to this event and learn more about immigration issues.
Do not forget that our second general body meeting will be Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. in room 286 in the Reitz.
