There are a lot of broken things in the forum module dude, I don't think merging the two is a good Idea. How about we add another branch?

I don't think anybody is using Forum from Git. But this is the big problem with merging everything into one big repo I think. I am wondering if it would not be better to have Chisimba, Chisimba-modules, and Chisimba-canvases as separate repositories.

Is it possible to merge only the section that Jeremy has been working on?

Master and edge are the two main branches of Chisimba. We need to be able to always merge edge into master.
Do you foresee the issues with the forum module being resolved at some stage? Otherwise, could you perhaps restore the forum module to a working version in edge, create a development branch for that module and continue development there, and then merge edge into master?

@James Scoble, I do not think that is possible, that is why I propose a new branch which will be a copy of master then I can merge Jeremy's work into it.

@Derek Deats, that is a great idea but adding two more repos will need some money.

Why money?

I sent an eMail to Prince Mbekwa and I quoted his reply, I thought I had to pay if I wanted to create another repository (Made that assumption based on my experience since creating private repositories for the company I work for). I will create the repos as soon as I get permission to fork.

what does that mean? Permission to fork? Can't  you just svn update them, remove the svn dirs and create a new project?

Wait. You need to import the way prince did it in order to retain the history. We can't lose the history. That is important.

GITHUB says, "You don't have permission to create repositories for this organization.Sorry about that"

Which user does? There should be more than one.

I think ask prince to give you permissions.
