Hi, I was working extensively in CMS, where I fixed a huge number of bugs and made various improvements for http://corallinales.com/ -- I thought I had not committed stuff, but in fact it is all committed. The other module is my SPECIES module, which is badly bust right now, so I won't commit it. I will rather checkout the git version, and then push my changes over to that as I fix them.

So you are good to go.

Are you going to put Canvases and Shellscripts into git too?
If so, give me a couple of days notice, I want to do some cleanup in those.

cheers

OK, I have created a new repository on GitHub called modules, and populated it from the subversion modules repository. It is ready for use. The main branch is "master", and I have created an "edge" branch.

To check it out, use:

git clone g...@github.com:chisimba/modules.git

and:

git checkout -b edge --track origin/edge

Can I delete the modules and canvases directory trees from the chisimba repository on GitHub, as per the indicated directories in the root level of that repository as shown below?

app
canvases <-
modules <-
.gitignore
build.xml
COPYING
countlines.pl
package-config.php
pearpacker.php
README.md

Thanks Jeremy. Let me sort it out over the weekend. Then you can do it any time after  Monday. In the office now, and my dev stuff is on the machine at home.
regards
Derek

I have now migrated canvases to git.

To checkout the repository:

git clone g...@github.com:chisimba/canvases.git

and

cd canvases/
git checkout -b edge --track origin/edge

I totally forgot about this on the weekend, but it is easy for me to just move the changes to GIT, so all is cool. Will try to do it tonight if I don't end up 99hours in the traffic.

You can perform the commits in the subversion repository if you want, as it is possible to update the git repository from the subversion repository after the initial migration has been done.
