Hiya,
Just a quickish update - the next few months are going to be pretty
busy aikido-wise so please keep an eye on our calendar page.
Upcoming dates....
Saturday Training - May 8th and 22nd - 10:00am until 13:00pm, cost is
£4 unless you've paid for the month in which case they are free.
Please try and support these as they are aimed at grading technique
and movement. If you're worried about a 3 hour class then they are not
that physically demanding, it's more technical than physical and
hopefully on one of the days we'll have a visit from the guys from
Stockport.
May 9th there's a course in Birmingham with Terry Bayliss and his
association - nice bunch of people, some of Terry's main influences
are Saotome sensei and also Yamaguchi sensei. It's also for charity.
June 5th is our birthday! It's also the grading date so please make
sure you have it booked off if you work weekends and are intending on
grading, either way, it's nice to celebrate us getting through another
year together. There will be a meal and party afterwards as usual. Any
ideas on venue for the meal? Maybe Habibi's or the other place we were
going to have out Christmas meal at (can't remember the name)?
June 26th - ADL Annual Course - Free to ADL members (that's us lol).
We'll be hiring a minibus for this one again.
July 18th - Mimuro sensei - don't miss this one!
July 24th & 25th - International Big 3 in Lowestoft - Obata sensei and
Lee sensei - both are not to be missed.
End of July - I'm in Germany teaching for a weekend and then I'm back
in France for a few weeks training.
