Is there a way to convert FIRRTL to Yosys json file without Yosys?

I would like to use https://github.com/nturley/netlistsvg to generate diagrams.

Is there a way to convert FIRRTL directly to the Yosys .json format without first generating Verilog and then running Yosys?

I've tried the Chisel diagrammer, but it doesn't generate anything like the below.

The diagrams from netlistsvg look quite nice.
