We now have an official SSL certificate from GoDaddy for cixar.com.
They offer free SSL certificates to open source projects.

I initiated the request on April 8 and got the certificate today, May
20, so the process took a bit over a month. GoDaddy attempted to
convert the request into a commercial purchase by denying my request
on the grounds that Chiron was not an open source project.

I asked them to look again and they agreed to give me a free one year
credit. It
took a while for the credit to appear on the GoDaddy page, into which
I had to log
in periodically to discover, theoretically looking at their ads.

Suffice it to say, I'm glad that we will no longer have to click the
annoying security
notices when we visit the Trac page (which is always over SSL because
I don't want
people passing their login credentials around in plain text).
However, suffice it to say,
when a year rolls around, I won't be paying GoDaddy for their service.

Cheers,

Kris
