Hello guys,
I'm using ChironFS 1.1.1 on RHEL 5.2 x86_64.
If I run the chironfs on "my hands" the /var/run/chironctl was been created successful and was been ready to use:
# chironfs /real1=/real2 /virtual --fuseoptions allow_other --ctl /var/run/chironctl --log /var/log/chironfs.log
# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/real1=/real2 5.0G 500M 4.2G 11% /virtual
fuse 4.0G 0 4.0G 0% /var/run/chironctl
# ps -ef | grep chiron
root 7392 1 0 16:20 ? 00:00:00 chironfs /real1 /real2 /virtual --fuseoptions allow_other --ctl /var/run/chironctl --log /var/log/chironfs.log
But, If I use the /etc/fstab the directory /var/run/chironctl can't be used:
# ps -ef | grep chiron
root 6068 1 0 15:07 ? 00:00:05 chironfs /real1 :/real2 /virtual -o rw,allow_other,log=/var/log/chironfs.log,ctl=/var/run/chironctl
[root@hotsite-bsb-la-1 ~]$ ll /var/run/chironctl
total 0
[root@hotsite-bsb-la-1 ~]$ ll -d /var/run/chironctl
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Jul 30 15:07 /var/run/chironctl
Is this a bug? :)
Thanks
