You need to contact Nebula Support Sup...@seenbula.com , have them provide you the code (& steps to perform - this is completely upto Nebula Support discretion to provide this code or to reject) to be able to have Google Playstore.

From there install / purchase the apps AIRScreen OR CastReceiver, which add the Chromecast feature. I prefer the AIRScreen App since it also provides DLNA, Airplay and Chromecast and most stable, make sure to test it out.

Please reply to Nebula Support for this issue, they will most probably suggest a factory reset or may have better inputs. Make sure the device is connected to internet without any blocks / firewall settings which may block Google (playstore)

HI @Paddy_AUS
Unless you have some important files (which I assume is not the case), the best / fastest option would be to factory reset (settings>about>recovery and test them again) and then login to Playstore and check it out.

@Shenoy disney+ is not compatible with the capsule since its running custom software. Even side loading it doesnt work, i went through the whole ordeal with support. I myself just reverted to casting from the laptop or cell phone as it was much easier and less of a hassle

Disney+ features movies and shows from Disney brands like Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. It also has exclusive titles like The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, and Encore! with films like Lady and the Tramp and Noelle.

Can I sign up for a Disney Bundle through Xfinity?
Yes, eligible subscribers can sign up for a Disney Bundle through Xfinity by following the prompts in the Disney+ app on your X1 TV Box or Flex streaming TV Box. Disney manages eligibility for Disney Bundles.

How do I manage my existing Disney+ subscription through Xfinity?
If your Disney+ subscription appears on your Xfinity bill, you can manage your plan through your X1 TV Box or Flex streaming TV Box by following these steps:

I heard that Disney+ is raising its prices. How much does Disney+ cost?
Disney+ has various new plans and bundling options, including ad-supported plans at a lower price. For more information and pricing details, visit disneyplus.com.

Can I change to a new plan through the Disney+ app on X1 or Flex?
If your Disney+ subscription is billed through Xfinity, you can change your plan through your X1 TV Box or Flex streaming TV Box by following these steps:

Is Disney+ in 4K?
4K content is available if you use the Disney+ app on X1 and have an XG1v4 or Xi6 TV Box or on Flex with an Xi6 streaming TV Box (along with a compatible 4K or 4K/HDR TV).

Does watching Disney+ content in the app count against my monthly internet data usage?
Yes, the content is streamed over the internet and will count against your monthly data usage.

Why is some Disney content that was available for free no longer available on Xfinity On Demand?
The Walt Disney Company makes programming decisions for their content and determines which TV shows and movies will be available on their owned channels, On Demand, and Disney+.

Some titles previously available for free On Demand or through other networks and streaming services are now only available on Disney+, such as The Simpsons and films released by The Walt Disney Studios in 2019 and beyond, including Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Aladdin, Toy Story 4, The Lion King, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Frozen 2, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

i am having issues with the my Samsung Smart tv (model UN65KS8500FXZA) and Disney Plus App. Seems that something with the att broadband is preventing the connection or starting of the Disney Plus app or a possible issue between the app and the Tv. The network status of my internet is good along with the the network status of the Samsung Tv. All the other Apps within the Samsung Smart Tv work just fine except for the Disney Plus app. I get an error 1017 when opening the Disney + app.
I am wondering if there is a possible firewall or Att Broadband/Samsung setting that is causing the Disney Plus connectivity issue. I did try changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8, resetting the smart hub, restoring to factory settings, unplugging tv and didn't fix anything. Please help.

my tv is compatible as the Disney plus app works when I connected the tv internet to my att cellular phone hotspot. Works with no issues so I am thinking there is a disconnect with my att fiber/Samsung tv/app. Could this be the case? If yes what do I do?

It's ridiculous that samsung TV's don't support Disney + on their TV's older than 4 years. I've just subscribed and immediately cancelled when was told by Disney support that I'd need to buy a chromecast for my 2 samsung TV's as a workaround. Why should I have to do that? Surely samsung can retro fit the app to their 'older' TV's OS's. Certainly there's no issue with other dtreaming services, Netflix, Prime, etc.... Really poor form by Samsung and can only assume it's designed as a money grabber for people to buy a new model Samsung TV. For me, it's made me go the other way and when I do change TV's (although nothing wrong with my 5 year 'old' TV's), it won't be a Samsung.

I'm with you Astronaut and I have this to add: Scanning through the solutions I see nothing about Disney not working with my TV. Why don't they just come out and say so? This has been a waste of my precious time and now I have to cancel Disney and Starz. My TVs are not that old, what else am I missing out on? No more Samsung for me.

I tried to delete the app but it is one of the apps that can't be deleted from the smart hub or even lets me select the app when I open the delete app option. . Is there a way for me to remove/uninstall the app

Any advice on blocking Disney+? With it just out, Fortinet has not created an application signature yet and for some reason, I cannot see any traffic details as I try to figure out what it is using. I work at a school and the students are streaming away!

Looks like the site itself was recently added under the web filter Fortiguard category "Streaming Media and Download", though do not know what other domains/ports are used by the service itself. You may have better luck blocking it via web filter/fortiguard. Mind you, you should use FortiView and drill down to the individual sessions of a device that is streaming/using the service just to see what is blocked/allowed through. The site itself uses a wildcard security certificate, so if your fgt is not using deep packet inspection, try blocking it wildcard web filter (via "*.disneyplus.com").

I'm going to guess that you're going to have to exempt it from deep packet inspection. I'm thinking it's not happy with that. We had the same issue... people were complaining that it wasn't working. I didn't want to allow it, so I just blocked the URL.

We had an issue at school the other day. We wanted to allow all YouTube videos, but block the Streaming Media category (it worked well with Palo Alto Networks a couple of month ago). But the main task was to deny access to all video files on Disney+

The Fortinet Security Fabric brings together the concepts of convergence and consolidation to provide comprehensive cybersecurity protection for all users, devices, and applications and across all network edges.

With Disney Plus, subscribers can watch thousands of Disney movies and series on their devices (smart TVs, phones, laptops, tablets, and gaming consoles). The service includes unlimited downloads so you can watch anywhere, anytime.

Disney Plus is now live and available to stream in the US, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, India, and the United Kingdom.

Disney Plus costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year in the US. For that price, you get ad-free access to all of the service's streaming titles spanning many different genres and interests. Though the service initially offered a free seven-day trial for new subscribers, this promotion is no longer available.

Yes. If you're looking for a great gift for that special Disney fan in your life, you can get them a Disney Plus subscription card. The gift subscription is available for one year of the streaming service and costs $69.99. It's sent via email on a date of your choice. Gift subscriptions can only be redeemed by people who are not already signed up for Disney Plus.

The platform supports up to seven profiles per subscription. This allows different members of a household to each create their own profiles with their own avatars and personalized settings. A special Kids Profile option can also be used for children. This feature restricts Disney Plus streaming access to titles that are rated TV-7FV and G.

Disney Plus also allows simultaneous streaming on up to four different devices. Unlimited downloads are provided as well via the Disney Plus app on up to 10 different smartphones and tablets. This makes it easy to save titles to watch offline later during situations when you don't have access to an internet connection.

When it comes to video formats, Disney Plus supports up to 4K Ultra HD resolution on select movies and shows. High Dynamic Range (HDR), using the HDR10 or Dolby Vision format, is also available on some movies and shows. This feature offers enhanced colors and contrast on compatible TVs. Dolby Digital surround sound and Dolby Atmos audio formats are supported on several titles as well.

Disney Plus is an ideal service for Disney fans, whether they're Marvel geeks or animation aficionados. It's especially suitable for families with children who want to immerse themselves in the vast world of Disney.

Though the current lineup of original programming is a bit limited, more exclusive shows are set to be added over the coming months, including new Star Wars and Marvel shows. For now, however, Disney Plus is more of a draw for people who want to watch recent Disney movies and older Disney titles from the studio's vault.
