Does Gemmini still support verilog?

I am trying to do Lab 2 of Berkeley's Hardware for ML course an it requires building the  accelerator mesh in Verilog.  I am told Chipyard/Gemmini may no longer have verilog support. Anyone have very recent experience to the contrary?

if that doc link is current then it looks like this should not be a problem. Can anyone confirm? In the meantime I'll just try and see what happens
