Hi guys,

Hope your summer has been treating you well. 

Attached you will find the Fall 2013 budget, Fall 2014 budget, and the cost summary.  You may notice some changes regarding Fall 2014 Budget:
  • I added $125 to the insurance (highlighted in orange).  The alumni reduced parlor fees down to $250 to allow for the shift
  • I reduced our programming budget by half.  I don't know why Zain budgeted $3,325 for programing..
GCM will be sending home bills (hard copy and email) on August 1st and Ed recommends that I also input the Fall 2014 dues "at the same time to avoid any confusion/annoyance for brothers and parents."  This is good because brothers will have an incentive to pay their dues along with their rent/deposit/parlor fees which are due August 15th.  Unfortunately we can't bill the Fall 2014 dues thru GCM until it has been approved by the whole brotherhood at our first brotherhood meeting on 9/7/2014.  Ed suggests that we use a web-base voting system (ballotbin or easypolls).  If not enough brothers vote, we will simply send out the Fall 2014 dues on August 1st via GCM with a note stating that it could be adjusted by brothers on 9/7/2014.

I'm open to questions, comments, and suggestions

P.S. Migs may you check to see if the number of Active members, Dormants, New Members, and Graduating seniors are correct on the Fall 2014 Budget.
