Plants and fruit disappearing from plots

Hi all,

Unfortunately plants and fruits are going missing from allotment plots again. As with last year, strawberries are high on the agenda.

I am also losing sweet pepper plants. We had three pepper plants that were planted which went missing. I then brought down two trays of three plants to harden off before planting. One tray of three went missing last week and the other tray of three went missing either late last night or sometime this morning.

The pepper plants were not showing any fruit. They were just green plants - so not an obvious target for a sweet-toothed child.

Someone else lost a lot of strawberry fruits either late last night or this morning.
