The test was run in 2x2 size in windowed mode with no frame skip under 32-bit color depth. Mix Frame or similar
feature if supported was turned on. Low pass sound filter was on. Initial SGB border was set. If available, use
GBC LCD "washout" colors. Other settings, whenever available, are set as close to a real GB/GBC as possible. A
Gameboy Color and a classic Gameboy were acted as the control environment depending on the game types. Unless
otherwise stated, all games were verified using the real Gameboy Color or classic Gameboy.
During changing to the language selection screen, there are 2 dark red columns flashed up at the leftmost and rightmost. These 2 columns also flashed up after selecting a language. During screen change, the previous screen image mixed with the current one.
Note that the following graphics glitches were normal: Small dot at the upper right of the falling bread (burger top) There was a pixel missing in the leftmost of the status window The uppermost line of the status window flashed sometimes
One player controls one little bomberman. His objective is to blow up (with bombs, yes) all the other little bombermen on the screen, who can either be controlled by real human opponents or the computer AI.
As you play on, and blow up destructible wall tiles, powerups appear that increase the amount of bombs you can lay at one time, as well as the length of the explosion, and several other handy features that hope to give you the upper hand over your opponent.
