Susan as usual, I have no idea what you are talking about.  Why would her SDR not be legal?  I'm not doing anything to shoot COA in the foot legally either.  I simply take my dog's DNA sample and send it into UKC along with her paperwork.  There is nothing wrong with that.  Her sire was exactly the dog Joyce told me it would be.  So I have no idea what you are ranting about.

Nor do I know why you are ranting about my breeding program.  I never told you who you could and could not breed your dogs to so why do you feel you have the right to do so with me?  I looked at all the available studs that I could use for a live cover and weighed the pros and cons of each.  I wanted to do a live breeding for her first litter so that was a strong criteria.  I was lucky to find one that also gave me a low COI.  Then I made my choice and Elizabeth was bred.  That's the way it's always been done and the same way other breeders do their breedings.

Now I just want to get home from this training class so I can be with Leapin' Lizard during the last days of her pregnancy.  I presume that you will leave the subject of her litter by the wayside and allow me to move on with helping whelp and raise the babies the best I can.

And it's best if you presume NOTHING on behalf of me. As I will also continue to presume nothing on behalf of UKC.  Thanks.  Susan

Gee Susan, I thought you'd like the fact that I bred Elizabeth to the son of your bitch.  I guess you don't want your Sparkle's genes to be carried forward in the Chinook gene pool.  I liked Sparkle and felt she had some good traits to contribute and I am definitely a fan of Peter.  I was able to get two very nice sons from him, one which Carie has frozen semen from now.  But since you've spent so much time here at my house with Elizabeth and know her so well, and have spent time at Joyce's home before she died and know Chamberlain, Seneca, and Mercury with such familiarity, I guess I won't complain. After all, you never really can know a dog until you spend time with it, see it move in person, and get your hands on it to really feel how it's put together.

Let's face it Susan, you've never seen any of my dogs in person and you know nothing about them other than a few photos you've seen on websites and Facebook.  So you have no in depth knowledge of any of them.  You've never been on a sled behind them or seen them at a weight pull.  They are living, breathing creatures -- not just lists of dogs on a computer.  You seem to have forgotten that.

You've never met Darka either; But that didn't stop you from proclaiming years ago she was 'too small' ?! ;)  Which comment further assured you never will lay hands on her (grin ;).  So I too know all about living breathing PHENOTYPES (which we weren't discussing, until you needed to CHANGE the SUBJECT again by simply attacking me personally), yep. ;)

So practice what you too preach, G.  For I met an entire Van load of Joyce's dogs here in 2011 too, hands on.  I also first put my hands on early Hurricane dog(s) well over a decade ago already.  One that happened to have been inbred and blind since her second birthday.  So I don't need your lectures on phenotypes as you dodge the real genotypes, then as now, thanks.  It too gets old, as the breed dies.

BACK ON TOPIC HERE AGAIN THEN, PLEASE:  What I DON"T LIKE is having the COA board preach following the 'RULES" to me; While YOU CONTINUE TO APPARENTLY NOT FOLLOW THEM, proclaiming your beloved 'Lifetime Member' status (which also cheapens the entire social club/apparatus every time you lean on this so falsely as some kind of birthright to do what you please, the rest of the BREED be DAMNED... ;).

best, susan

Susan, don't talk like this, saying that I'm using my "Lifetime Member" status to get special favors from the COA when I'm not.  Tell me when I have asked for special favors from the COA in the last year?  The last two years?  The last five years?  Be specific please.  What specific rules have I broken?  I have worked hard on behalf of the COA, serving on the Board for multiple terms, writing articles for the CQ and serving on committees in between those terms.  I'm pretty sure that I'm on good terms with UKC as well.  In fact the last email I got from them was earlier today and they were thanking me for being "patient and reasonable" to deal with.

Put up or shut up Susan.  What gives you such an exalted status that you are allowed to call people out?  Who appointed you God of the Chinook?  I don't remember voting for you.  I may contribute to COA and CCA activities on occasions but I am only responsible for my own activities and my own dogs.  I really wish that you would leave me and my dogs alone.  What is this all about?  Do I have a target on my back?

Who ever the moderator of this Group is; I would appreciate it if you'd remind Ginger to stop telling me to 'shut up' (since 1992 ;).  Thanks, Susan

Sorry this is late.  I made the appropriate changes for the Tomorrow River dogs.  Only 3 remain intact:  Daisy, Mickey of GreatMtn and Alemos Wajemi.

Hi all breeders and owners of intact Chinooks.  We're getting set to resend our pedigree data to the population geneticists to be re-run.  The most important thing from a population perspective is to get accurate data on the breeding population (aka, dogs that are not spayed and neutered).

Breeders- please update your information in the CPP folder on google drive  - link is below.  The relevant column is H (Status - values are Neutered or Intact).  If you have any questions, or complications, you can email me any updates and I can make them for you.

Please make any updates by 11:59pm Monday 13 July.  Sorry for the short notice.

I've been on the road for three days and am going on about 4.5 hours of sleep last night. No more talking for 48 hours on this list until I have time to sleep and catch up.
