Updates on Chinmaya Internet Channel. Important. Please Read

Hari Om,

Hope you are all enjoying the live webcasts of Pujya Guruji's Sadhana
camp and also the Rudrabhishekam Puja in the mornings. The Chinmaya
Internet Channel grew with a fledgling set up of a small computer and
a dyyno webpage. Over a period of time we have increased the quality
of Dyyno, purchased a laptop ( funds are donated by one ardent devotee
Mrs. Meera Seth who is keen on developing this initiative) and other
accessories, created google group, email account, website and also
made it part of the chinmaya mission site. On account of the laptop
and accessories, thanks to Ms. Meera, we were able to move to all
locations and quickly fix up the set up without much trouble for next
session in this sadhana camp.

On chinmaya internet channel website we have developed our own page
with a seperate section for On demand videos which is available to
viewers all the time for a specific duration of days. There is online
chat facility for continous interaction on your problems in
connection.

We have also incorporated webcasts in our www.chinmayamission.com
website under resources section. From there you can see the schedule
of upcoming live webcasts, announcements during the webcasts or just
before it, guidelines on how to go about watching a webcast, on demand
video list which you can see whenever you want to.

All this has been done and with dyyno's new features coming up, this
channel and medium is set to grow....

However, there is a big bottle neck. We are short of funds. We are
broadcasting at a broadband which is just Rs. 700 a month. On account
of it you are not able to see a bigger sized viewer and there are
occassional breaks. We need about $8-10,000 per year for giving a very
good experience. We are ready to go for a leased line connection and
we are also going into feasibility study. But we need your support. If
every one contributes upto $100 or (Rs.1000 atleast if in India) also,
we might gather a fair bit of money to start with.

Please support us and make this vision of Pujya Guruji to reach out to
Gurudevs and Guruji's devotees in the most remote location a
success...
