I was able to find only a trial license for Parental Control for Android registered with your forum email address. You can provide me with the username that you tried to use for update or with your public license key so that I can look up your other license for NOD32 Antivirus for Linux if you actually purchased one.

I sent a private message to Marcos, but I purchased ESET Smart Security Premium for up to ten devices for one year using the same email address registered here on the ESET Security Forum. I need my username and password so I can activate and update ESET NOD32 Antivirus for GNU/Linux on two Linux Mint 20.0 64-bit "Ulyana" GNU/Linux PCs as soon as possible. I hope that Marcos will reply via private message with the required information and it just works. Thank you.

Type the existing password into the first blank field, then type the new password into the Type new password and Retype new password fields. When you are finished, click Log in to save your changes.

If a Web Console user cannot log into the Web Console with two-factor authentication (2FA) because of an inaccessible phone (for example, the phone is lost or damaged), resetting the Web Console password disables the 2FA on the Administrator account and enables the user to log in. Other ESET PROTECT user accounts with 2FA will remain unaffected.

Click Use existing user and type the Database username (the default is era_user) and Password (you can find the password in: %PROGRAMDATA%\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\Server\EraServerApplicationData\Configuration\startupconfiguration.ini) and click Next.

Deselect the check box next to Use Administrator password already stored in the database, type a new password into the Password and Password confirmation fields and then click Next.

ESET Windows home products provide the option to establish a user-defined password to access program settings. If your system is part of a company network, contact your network administrator for assistance.

If you do not know your user-defined password, you can use the ESET Unlock Utility to remove it and restore your access to the configuration settings. ESET Technical Support can only provide unlock codes to users who can validate and verify their installed ESET product with settings protection password enabled.

The only one I was aware of in recent days was ESET NOD32 updated to version 16.0.22.0 which required restart. But I've done "pause protection" and disabled "HIPS" (Host Intrusion Prevention System), so it is "turned off". The issue with keepass still occurs if "enter master password with secure desktop" option is enabled.

For the time being, note that ESET NOD32 v16.0.22.0 causes the "An application has switched from the secure desktop to a different desktop" error when "Enter master key on secure desktop" is enabled in Keepass v2.52 and master password dialog is displayed on Windows 10.

ESET has created an Unlock Utility to remove the administrative password and restore your > access to the configuration settings. Please follow the instructions below to use the > ESET Unlock Utility:

The day before yesterday my Gmail account stopped working in Thunderbird (currently 78.4.1 Windows). Rather than faff around ad infinitum, I removed the account from Tbird and decided to set it up again from scratch, removing message data as well. I also removed Thunderbird as a Third-party app with account access in my Google account. Finally I changed my Google account password. I basically wanted to start completely from scratch to find out where the issue was.

Upon creating the account in Tbird it finds the config in the Mozilla database but it continues to come back and say "Unable to log in at server". There are only two things to add, gmail address and password and I have double and triple checked that they are correct. I cannot get any further.

3. check that the authentication for the incoming and outgoing servers is OAuth2 (was done automatically when adding the account), then restart TB and enter the (confirmed working) account password in the OAuth browser window, where you grant TB accessDone, but I get NO OAuth browser window!

Remove all items in Options/Privacy & Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, check that cookies are allowed in TB Options/Privacy & Security, check that the authentication for the incoming and outgoing servers is OAuth2 (should be done automatically when adding a new account), then restart TB and enter the (confirmed working) account password in the OAuth browser window, where you grant TB access. Disable a VPN if you have one.

I have exactly the same problem, but the solution doesn't work:Remove all items in Options/Privacy & Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords > OKCheck that cookies are allowed in TB Options/Privacy & Security > OKcheck that the authentication for the incoming and outgoing servers is OAuth2 (should be done automatically when adding a new account)>OKrestart TB and enter the (confirmed working) account password in the OAuth browser window, where you grant TB access. > This part doesn't work at all. The password is good, verified twice. I always get the same result: TB is unable to connect to gmail, messaging that either the configuration (automated), the user ID (...) or the password (checked again and again) are probably incorrect.Quite a problem... It is not as if Gmail was not used as an email provider...Thanks in advance for any answerBest

What is interesting, that when I select advanced config and click that I understand that window will be closed; I can compose email, which is sent via smtp (I have to however provide password), mail is sent but can't by copied to sent folder.
