IfI'd had any idea Adobe was so coercive and unclear about what their plans are I never would have bought anything. I thought I had a month to month plan for Premiere but it seems that it has turned into a yearly plan without my noticing...OK I do sometimes use Premiere. Then I got Illustrator as a free trial and didn't get around to cancel it immediately so after a couple of months this has turned into a yearly subscription. How did this happen? I'm sure I never signed up for a yearly subscription for it. I didn't cancel it because there is no CANCEL BUTTON and i didn't have time for all this mucking about. This SUCKS I don't want it, I'm not using it. This is bad business practice and a waste of my time. All the help person said was that I did have a yearly plan for both and offered 3 months free on illustrator. Can someone clearly show me where I went wrong and where I committed myself to these plans especially the illustrator one?

I'm sorry you got caught in this frustration. Adobe has changed the way their free trials work. The 7 day trial now automatically converts to a paid subscription on day 8 unless you manually cancel it first, and the cancellation process is, as you are aware, a little opaque. You must go to "Manage account" under your Adobe ID and to select "Plans". Click the plan associated with your 7 day trial and cancel it. In the process, the system asks a lot of questions, and you need to make sure you follow all the way through to be successful. You can check that the cancellation stuck by going back to plans afterward and reviewing the status.

As for why you're on a yearly subscription, that has to do with what you selected when you were signing up for the trial. As you can see from the screenshot, there are multiple options, but "Annual plan, paid monthly" is the default.

Since you did not intend to subscribe to Illustrator or to an annual plan for Premiere it might be worth contacting Adobe again and explaining that you were mislead. If the regular chat agents can't help, see if you can speak with a supervisor. Perhaps they will be willing to cancel the plan for you without further charge.

Where did the terms change? What is not clear in "Annual plan"? And before taking the subscription you will agree that you have read the terms. And contrary to my mobile subscription where the terms are 2 pages full of 8 point text, the terms Adobe shows are readable in 5 minutes and are clear and concise.

As soon as you enter a payment method anywhere you need to be aware of that you are signing on to something that will be billed sooner or later. There are 3 options on the Adobe site and they differ in the amount, the terms and the billing cycle.

The exact same thing happened to me. I had no idea that I had committed to an annual plan. Since whatever was shown to me on Adobe's web interface is no longer accessible to me, I have no clue whether I just misread the big print or whether it was buried in the small print, which nobody can or should read for every web service they use. Also, a free trial flipping into an annual commitment seems highly unusual and should be particularly highlighted to users. Some or all of the fault could be mine, but I feel scammed.

Hello, I was in contact with customer support and they told me to go to the forum to fix my problem. What a joke the support system is! Anyways I started a free trial of Adobe Illustrator and after less than 1 day and half way done on the work I was doing of my 7 day free trial it tells me my trial has ended. Who can help me? I am skeptical that anyone will even try.

Once the trial has expired, it's done. Your next option is to purchase the software subscription, and then cancel it if you determine it will not work for you. However, before you do this, read the Terms & Conditions carefully so that you understand what you are purchasing, when you can cancel without penalty and how the auto-renewal works.

A few days ago, I received an email from you about adding 90 days of service for free to my account.

Thank you so much for givin this option and use of your products due to the war in Ukraine - this is more than ever worth it!

Unfortunately, I'm having a problem running Adobe Illustrator.

Please, let me know if I can use it for free still and help me fix the problem. Thank you in advance

If you would rather have tips from the forum, then we would need a more detailed description of your issues (your system, error codes and the exact steps of what is happening). Please don't post personal details on the forum (this includes your name, e-mail, account etc).

I wanted to test Illustrator to see how the tool worked, and when the download was complete, the tool said could use the trial for 1 week.

But, the next day, when I opened Illustrator again, it said my trial had expired. Can I somehow recover those 6 days I didn't have?

I worked normally as I used the product, however, I accidentally closed the app via the X in the top right (Windows 10), and I restarted the trial. only this time, it displayed the 7 days remaining counter, and then it immediately switched to the 00 days remaining counter, and the text changed to "Your trial has expired."

We have good news. Previously, we provided Trial Users extensions to the trial period via email request. With the release of 1.5.00 we have added to the function allowing In-App extension directly by the user. If your trial runs its course, you are presented the option to extend directly from the LightBurn License Page, under the Help menu. (in a whispering voice) and you can extend more than once, providing significant time to fully review all aspects of the software, prior to making your purchasing decision.

The purpose of a trial is not to fully learn a program, it is to see if said program will work for you, allowing you to make an informed decision about purchasing. Their 30 day trial (plus extensions) is so much more than any other software I have tried in the last several years, many give 10 days at most. I feel their trial period is more than generous for such a great program.

I had to ask for some extra time on trial because i went in the hospital for 2 weeks. got home sent that later that day i had 3 weeks added. i played around on lightburn for 3 days and that was enough for me to know thats the program for my lasers
