list of frequently used classical chinese characters available?

While I am aware of at least one list of most frequently used
Classical Chinese characters in print (E Bruce Brooks, Chinese
Character Frequency Lists ((SinFac Minor, 1976)), very limited
distribution, revised edition planned), I'm looking for an online (or
text file) source of a similar list. Even without definitions this
would be very helpful, especially if can use it with Wenlin 4 (which
now has Shuowen definitions), or even Pleco (which I could edit to
insert definitions culled from other sources).
I have no doubt "it's out there" but am eager for the list's help.

Also, Bruce Brooks' List is long out of print.
