ENAMDICT is an enormously useful resource. I've used WordLookup to
access EDICT and ENAMDICT (and CEDICT, though I find that less useful
than Wenlin). Seeing as these sources are all updated often, it would
be really helpful and a great service if you could write up directions
for 'building' these dictionaries so we can update them in the future
if needed.
Thanks,
Joe
240M! It's about the same size as an episode of Dr. Who I just
recorded from television. But enamdict is more entertaining!

I know very little about this, but if it's some kind of XML file
that's needed, I wonder if it might be possible to adapt the
"Dictionary of Chinese Buddhist Terms" of Soothill and Hodous for use
with the Apple Dictionary? An "XML Source" file is downloadable:

Patrick - I imagine it's possible but would require a freely available
text-file-based classical Chinese dictionary, which I'm not aware of.
Do you know of any?

Just to clarify, before I go in and muck something up, is this still
limited to Leopard (10.5)?

All of the dictionaries including CEDICT appear in the dictionary widget supplied with Leopard -- I didn't do anything special.
