The Embassy of Belgium in China, together with the Yale Center Beijing, the Beijing Center for Chinese Studies and the Macau Ricci Institute, would like to cordially invite you to join us in person for the celebration of the Fourth Centenary of the birth of Ferdinand Verbiest (1623-1688) on Monday 9 October 2023. This event will offer a unique opportunity to discover the rich dialogue between the Belgian Jesuit and China, especially through his groundbreaking contributions to science and innovation.
