特拉华大学孔子学院举办人文讲座“金陵南京的皇家风范” （本周四10月27日晚7点）

特拉华大学孔子学院将举办年度“UD-北大名家讲坛”，特邀南京大学程章灿教授讲述“金陵南京的皇家风范”。

程章灿教授，毕业于北京大学历史系（本科）世界史专业，后考入南京大学中文系，师从程千帆先生，获得硕士和博士学位。留校任教至今，现为南京大学古典文献研究所所长，南京大学中文系教授、博士生导师、教育部“长江学者”特聘教授。曾任美国哈佛大学高级访问学者（1995-1996年）、美国宾州大学高级访问学者（1998年）、英国牛津大学高级访问学者（2001年）。被评为南京大学中青年学术骨干，入选江苏省跨世纪学术带头人（333工程）、青蓝工程学术带头人。主要致力于汉魏晋南北朝唐宋文学、石刻文献学、国际汉学与中外文化交流等方面的研究，兼擅古典诗词。

The Confucius Institute cordially invites campus and community audience to the annual UD-Peking University Distinguished Scholar Lecture Series on Thursday October 27, 2016. Professor Zhangcan Cheng will give a talk on the Culture Image of Nanjing in Historical Perspective – The Royal Aura of Jinling.

Prof. Cheng is a Changjiang Professor of Classical Chinese Literature. He has published more than ten books including: An Introduction to The Poetry of the Tang Dynasty (1992), The Great Families and the Literature in Six Dynasties (1998), Milou: Poetry and the Labyrinth of Desire (Chinese Translation from English) (2003), and Wenxuan and the Chinese Literary Tradition (2014).

English interpretation will be provided for this talk.
