一、学校简介

江苏科技大学是一所省部共建、以工为主、特色鲜明的普通高校,学校坐落在风景秀丽的全国历史文化名城——江苏省镇江市,是江苏省重点建设高校,教育部本科教学工作水平评估优秀学校,教育部卓越工程师教育培养计划高校。

学校现有镇江东、南、西3个校区和张家港校区,下设14个学院,56个本科专业,有1个博士后科研流动站、2个博士学位授权一级学科、6个博士学位授权点、12个硕士学位授权一级学科、48个硕士学位授权点。学校现有教职工2000余名,其中专任教师1170余名,具有正高职称人员162名,副高职称人员552名。学校面向全国招生,现有在校普通本科生21900余人,研究生3000余人(含专业学位研究生)。中国人民解放军在我校设立了后备军官选拔培训工作办公室,在校国防生近200名。

二、高层次人才范围

(一)杰出人才

1. 第一层次:两院院士、“长江学者”特聘教授、国家“杰出青年科学基金获得者”、国家“千人计划”人选,以及海内外具有与此相当学术地位和成就的专家学者。

2. 第二层次:国家“优秀青年科学基金获得者”、国家“青年千人计划”人选、省“双创计划”人才、省特聘教授(全职),以及海内外具有与此相当学术地位和成就的专家学者。

3. 第三层次:具备符合第一层次和第二层次申报条件的人员。学校将优先推荐申报,且申报成功后,待遇可以重新商定。

四、应聘条件

(一)杰出人才

具有“杰出人才”头衔和具备申报“杰出人才”条件的人员,均可应聘,待遇面谈。

(二)学科(学术)带头人

海外应聘人员条件

(1)博士毕业于海外知名大学(或研究机构),或国内博士毕业后有连续4年及以上海外教学(科研)工作经历,并在海外担任助理教授或相当层次职位2年及以上;引进时仍在海外或回国未满1年;

(2)发表高水平学术论文。在本学科SCI一区刊物上发表学术论文1篇,或在本学科SCI二区刊物上发表学术论文2篇,或在影响因子排名本学科前5%的期刊上发表学术论文1篇。

(3)年龄原则上不超过45周岁,条件优秀者年龄可适当放宽。

(三)学术创新团队

学术创新团队是指在某一学术领域、围绕某一重要研究方向,进行基础研究和应用研究的紧密型创新团队。对于学术创新团队的引进,可采取全职或部分兼职的方式灵活引进。应聘条件包括:

(1)团队必须拥有一名海内外有学术影响的杰出人才作为首席专家,年龄一般在50周岁以下;

(2)拥有结构合理的学术梯队。其中,至少有2-3名中青年学术骨干,骨干成员应具有博士学位、年龄一般在40周岁以下;

(3)团队有稳定的科学研究方向,带头人承担过或正在承担国家级科研项目或省部级重点(重大)项目;

(4)带头人已经取得了国内外同行公认的学术成果,团队近五年在SCI/EI收录论文和授权发明专利不少于20篇(件)。

(四)优秀海归博士(后)

(1)博士毕业于海外知名大学(研究机构),或在国内重点大学(科研机构)获得博士学位后有连续2年及以上的海外博士后研究工作经历;博士所学专业与本科、硕士专业相近;引进时仍在海外或回国未满1年;

(2)攻读博士(后)期间在本学科领域发表权威期刊论文3篇及以上;

(3)能够运用外语讲授专业课程;

(4)年龄一般不超过40周岁,具有副高职称或博士后经历的人员年龄可适当放宽。

六、入校待遇

1.杰出人才:学校将提供优厚的住房补贴、科研启动经费和薪酬,具体待遇面议。

2. 学科(学术)带头人:购房补贴20-60万元,科研启动费10-300万元,按正高四档发放业绩津贴,津贴标准保留3年,海外学科带头人提供每年10万元的人才津贴,国内学科带头人提供每年3万元的人才津贴。

3. 海归博士(后):购房补贴25-40万元,科研启动费10-50万元,按副高一档发放业绩津贴,津贴标准保留3年,紧缺专业的优秀博士可以实行15-40万的年薪制。

4. 学术创新团队:引进人员(全职)待遇参照引进人才层次标准执行。

Jiangsu University of Science and Technology Invites High-level Talents from Home and Abroad to Join Us in 2016

 

I. About Us 

Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST) is a regular institution of higher education co-sponsored by Jiangsu Province and the Ministry of Education. As an engineering-oriented university with distinctive characteristics, it is located in the beautiful Chinese historic and cultural city – Zhenjiang City in Jiangsu Province. JUST is a provincially key university, recognized excellence in undergraduate teaching performance evaluation by China’s Ministry of Education and included in the Education Ministry’s Training Program for Outstanding Engineers.

JUST now has three campuses in Zhenjiang in the city’s east, south and west respectively and another campus in Zhangjiagang City, offering 56 undergraduate programs in 14 schools. It also boasts 1 center for post-doctoral studies, 2 doctoral degree Level-1 disciplines, 6 doctoral degree programs, 12 master’s degree Level-1 disciplines and 48 master’s degree programs. There are currently about 2,000 faculty members, including 1,170 full-time teachers, 162 professors and 552 associate professors. JUST enrolls students across China and now has about 21,900 regular undergraduates and 3,000 postgraduates (including candidates of professional degrees) on campus. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has set up a reserve officer selection and training office in JUST, with approximately 200 national-defense students on campus now. 

II. Scope of High-level Talents 

 (I) Outstanding Talents 

1. Level 1: Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Cheung Kong Scholar Distinguished Professors, winners of China’s “National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars”, China’s “Ten Thousand Talents” candidates, and experts or scholars from China and abroad with equivalent scholarly positions and achievements;

2. Level 2: Winners of China’s “National Science Fund for Excellent Youth”, China’s “Ten Thousand Young Talents” candidates, Jiangsu Provincial “Double Innovation Talent Program” talents, Jiangsu Provincial Distinguished Professors (full-time), and experts or scholars from China and abroad with equivalent scholarly positions and achievements;

3. Level 3: Those qualified for applying for Level 1 or Level 2. JUST will give priorities to them in recommendation for application, and the salaries and benefits for them may be re-negotiated upon successful application.

IV. Qualifications 

(I) Outstanding Talents  

Anyone having the title of “Outstanding Talent” or qualified for applying for this title may apply. The salary and benefits will be discussed in the interview.

 (II) Discipline (Academic) Leaders 

Qualifications for overseas applicants

 (1) Having obtained a doctoral degree from a well-known overseas university (or research institute), or having obtained a doctoral degree in China and worked for at least 4 consecutive years in overseas teaching (scientific research), and having worked as an assistant professor or with an equivalent job overseas for at least 2 years; still staying overseas when applying for the position, or having been in China for less than 1 year since returning;

(2) Having published high-level academic papers. Having published 1 academic paper in a SCI I journal in the same discipline, or 2 academic papers in SCI II journals in the same discipline, or 1 academic paper in journals of top 5% in terms of impact factor ranking in the same discipline.

(3) No older than 45 in general; this requirement may be appropriately relaxed for excellent applicants.

(III) Academic Innovation Teams 

Academic innovation teams refer to stably-formed innovation teams in a specific academic field, aiming at an important research direction and conducting fundamental and application researches. As for employing academic innovation teams, the mode is flexible: either full-time or part-time is acceptable. Employment qualifications include:

(1) Such a team must have one outstanding talent with academic influence both at home and abroad as the chief expert, whose age shall be normally under 50;

(2) It must have a reasonably-structured academic echelon. In the team, there shall be 2 to 3 middle-aged or young academic backbones, who shall hold the doctor’s degree and be younger than 40 in general;

(3) The team must have a stable scientific research direction; the leader has conducted or is conducting a national-level scientific research project or a provincial/ministry-level key (major) project; and

(4) Its leader has made academic achievements recognized by domestic and foreign peers. The team has at least 20 papers published in SCI/EI journals or authorized invention patents over the past five years.

(IV) Excellent Doctors (Postdoctoral Researchers) from Overseas 

(1) Having obtained a doctoral degree from a well-known overseas university (or research institute), or having obtained a doctoral degree in a key Chinese university (or research institute) and then conducted researches for at least 2 consecutive years overseas at a center for postdoctoral researches; the major during the doctoral degree learning shall be similar to that of undergraduate and master’s degree learning; still staying overseas when applying for the position, or having been in China for less than 1 year since returning;

(2) Having published at least 3 papers in authoritative journals in the same discipline or field during the doctoral (or postdoctoral) degree learning;

(3) Being able to teach professional courses in a foreign language; and

(4) No older than 40 in general; this requirement may be appropriately relaxed for applicants of associate professors or with experience of postdoctoral researches.

VI. Salary and Benefits 

1. Outstanding talents: JUST will provide generous housing subsidies, scientific research starting funds and salaries. Details may be discussed in interviews.

2. Discipline (academic) leaders: Offer RMB 200,000 to 600,000 as the housing purchase subsidy and RMB 100,000 to 3,000,000 as the scientific research starting funds; the performance allowance will be granted according to Level 4 for professors, and the allowance standard will be maintained for 3 years; for an overseas discipline leader, RMB 100,000 will be offered annually as the talent allowance, and RMB 30,000 annually to a Chinese discipline leader.

3. Doctors (postdoctoral researchers) from overseas: Offer RMB 250,000 to 400,000 as the housing purchase subsidy and RMB 100,000 to 500,000 as the scientific research starting funds; the performance allowance will be granted according to Level 1 for associate professors, and the allowance standard will be maintained for 3 years; as for excellent doctors in urgently-needed disciplines, the annual salary system of RMB 150,000 to 400,000 may be applied.

4. Academic innovation teams: Salaries and benefits for these persons (full-time) shall be according to the standards for the corresponding talent employment level.
