请教progressive车险的问题

我有个朋友他用的progressive的车险，现在半年要交1300多刀！（车本身也就5000左右价格，以前曾发生过一次很小的事故）。我们都觉得很贵，但是又不清楚该怎么跟progressive argue或是干脆换保险，是不是出过事故后保险会大幅度上涨，换了也是这价格？ 有什么好的降低保险的方法？

他拿到驾照应该是很早了，在这边打工，一点英文不会。每次progressive账单来了，让交多少就交多少。他想让我帮他看看能不能费用降低些。 我也不是很懂：（。  请问你说的deductible达到500以上是什么意思？  还有降低coverage就是改成保少一些的项，是吗？ 我是直接给progressive打电话让他们根据这个朋友的情况再次报价？

Some tips:
1How much deductible you will pay?  Increase your deductible to 500 dollar or more will decrease your insurance fee.
2When did you get your driver licence? The longer you have, the less you pay.

3Reduce the coverage will also decrease fee.

4Talk to them to ask discount.

像你朋友这种情况，应该要找会说中文的agent，他们会替他找多个保险公司报价，然后取最低的。
