I would love to pick your brains on how to get a 5-year to take the tinctures. When she takes them they have had great results. I haven't had a little one resist yet but she's a tough one. I've been trying various methods but no luck.

I would really like to hear what has worked for you!

Hi there,

Is this your patient or is it your child?

What I have noticed is that if there is any dynamic around the parent child relationship— either the parent REALLY strongly wants the kid to take the formula or the parent is dubious about the prescription helping or worried it will do harm — then that will be transmitted and the child will be repelled, disinterested.

She's a patient. Thank you for that perspective! Luckily my kids love the tinctures ~ they come running over to take them but I started them before the age of 1.

Yes, I see that in so many children too!

You could coach the parent around the herbs. I wonder what is going on around the herbs and the parent’s feeling around their child’s healing….

Very interesting - I'll have to be more mindful in my observation of the parent. I'll try the applesauce!
