I have a 9 year old boy with horrible chronic eczema;  bad patches on his body, especially behind ankles, on palms, at top of sacrum and itchy all over.  He is always itching even in his sleep.  He is on allergy shots for environmental allergies aug his meds have really not helped him.  he is not on chronic steroids nor is he on steroid topicals.  parents use moisturizers, antihistamines and antibacterial creams when infected looking.  I put him on Fire Fighter today, 2 droppers full twice daily.  I want to use the Egg treatment on him.  Efram, how often should he apply the egg?  can mom make the egg potion with 2 or more eggs to last?  I forgot how long it stays in the vinegar.  and do they do this twice a day for months?

Hi Cheryl.

The egg cure has to be made fresh daily. Only one egg at a time. However you can start 2- or three eggs in separate jars at once. But the egg should not sit in the vinegar for more than three days, or it may begin to rot. Allow the egg to sit in the vinegar until the shell is completely dissolved and only the membrane remains. Gently remove the egg from the vinegar and beat it thoroughly (can also use blender). With a small basting brush, paint the egg solution over the affected areas of the skin and allow to dry. Then remove with warm water and a soft bristle brush or wash cloth. Apply the egg solution 2-3 times per day for best results. Remember, there can be an aggravation of the eczema after the first 2-3 applications. This is to be expected and does not mean that the treatment is a failure. Persistence and determination are required for good results.
