Job Summary:

Assigns & reviews work of technical & clerical personnel, assists subordinates as non-routine situations arise. Coordinates the department's gis system, developing the digital database,
& overseeing installation of hardware & software systems, analyzes date & prepare a variety of maps & reports. Creates & maintains various data layers; works with gis staff & departments head on gis database design. bachelors' degree in gis, geography, planning
or related field, supplemented by four to five years of progressively responsible experience in gis system design, programming and/or mapping, or any equivalent combination of education, training experience.
