Parent’s
Night Out-Tonight, Friday 9/02 | Parents, we want to
offer a night out of fellowship without need to worry about your children. We are
excited to offer childcare and pizza at Chinese Evangelical Church of
Denver from 6:30pm to 9:00pm by the Sunday school area for $5/child. RSVP is
required.
Please
feel free to invite other parents. Also in your RSVP, provide the age
and number of children you are bringing.

Fall Harvest
Event, Sunday 9/11 | Our church is taking the opportunity to
serve others during our annual Fall Harvest event. We will be going together as a church to
gather fruits and vegetables at Miller Farms to give to families in need. We will leave at 1:45pm from church to travel and arrive at the farm
at 2:45.

Back-to-School
Drive | We collected 18 backpacks! Praise God and
thank you to everyone who participated and filled a backpack with school
supplies for refugee children in our community. These children will be able to go to class
without worry of missing things they need for the school year. If you would
like more information on how to help refugee families, please contact Dorothy
Loh (dorot...@gmail.com).
Prayer
Needs
Pray for Pastor Ling.
He will be traveling starting on Sept 4th. First to Bali for a mission conference,
then to Malaysia to visit his mother, and then to China for 3 weeks to train
local pastors and co-workers. He is
scheduled to return home on Oct 19th.
Pray for families in need of healing and reconciliation
Pray for
those who continue to struggle to find a job in our current economy
Pray for
missionaries/ organizations that CECD supports:
