Announcements FUSE: First Friday Art Walk, Fri Dec 2 | Every first Friday of the month, the Art District on Santa Fe has an art walk, where galleries and art studios are open late to the public. Join us on Dec. 2 at 6:00pm at the Southmoor Lightrail station, as we head down to the art walk together. Dinner option includes restaurants and food trucks. Visit http://www.artdistrictonsantafe.com/events/firstfriday for more information, or call Dorothy Moon at 303-249-2741.   Volunteering with Operation Christmas Child, Dec 8 | On Dec. 8, from 6:00-10:00pm, we will be volunteering at OCC's processing center in Colorado to help inspect and prepare shoe boxes for overseas shipment (they anticipate receiving 700,000 shoe boxes). Warehouse address: 16303 E. 32nd Ave., Ste. 20, Aurora, CO, 80011. Space is limited, so sign up earlier by either emailing or calling Dorothy Moon at dorot...@gmail.com/303-249-2741.   Operation Christmas Child | Thanks to all who contributed to packing shoeboxes for children across the globe.  Our congregation was able to collect 47 shoeboxes!  Praise God for your generosity!   Congregational Vote, Dec 11 | We have an opportunity to participate in the life of a church.  We will be voting to confirm our deacons and yearly budget on Dec 11th.   Christmas Eve Service, Dec 24 | Our church will be gathering our congregations together to celebrate Christmas Eve on Saturday, Dec 24th @ 7pm.    Christmas Sunday Combined Worship, Dec 25 | On Dec 25th, our church will have a combined service to celebrate Christmas day.  Our service will begin at 10am.   Take Them A Meal | The Rowland family recently returned back to the states from China with their new 2yr old baby boy, John. Please consider taking the time to serve their family with the gift of a meal so that their time can be focused on bonding with John. As we put away our summer clothes and take out our winter clothes, take a moment to think about the refugees in Denver who are without winter gear and consider helping them. We will be collecting gently used sweaters, coats, gloves, hats, and boots between November 13 - December 11. Please place all donated items in the box in the foyer.   Weekly Events     11:00AM Fellowship | Our English congregation hopes to build greater fellowship and deeper worship.  We are creating a “space” before our worship service to connect and have fellowship.  Come 15 minutes earlier at 11AM to meet and catch up with people.  Our service will begin at 11:30am to accommodate this fellowship time.     Deacon Nomination | Each year our church nominates new deacons to serve our church in the critical and needed role of leadership.  If you would are interested in serving in this capacity, or know someone to nominate, please speak with Pastor Josh (jos...@gmail.com or 720-295-9292)     Bi-Monthly Basketball | Come play ball. We have a group who gathers to play basketball on Saturdays from 1:30-4:30pm. We are currently evaluating various locations north of Denver.  If you would like more information or are considering joining us for the first time, contact Ivo Yueh (ivo...@gmail.com  or 720-244-3724)  Email Newsletter | We are moving our email newsletter to Google Groups for ease of communication and management.  If you have not signed up, please visit our website and subscribe to continue to receive our weekly news .    Church Picture Directory | Our church will be issuing a new picture directory.  We have been updating our congregation’s information.  If you would like to be a part of our directory, please fill out a contact information form after service or email Pastor Josh (jos...@gmail.com or 720-295-9292)     Prayer Needs     Pray for the whole Rowland family (Jason, Erin, Kelly, Kate, and Joe) who just returned home from China with their new adopted baby boy, John.  Pray for them as they all settle back home as a family of six, and that John will continue to attach well and feel safe with his new family.
