I am forwarding this one for job opportunities who are interested in international education. The other reason is that Scott Kennedy is involved in a big project in Philanthropy and Nonprofits in China. Therefore, some of you may be interested in this perspective. Hope it is helpful.

IU Recruiting Office Manager for New Beijing Rep Office

buildingIndiana University will be opening a formal Representative Office in Beijing later this spring. The facility will be located in the Tsinghua Science Park and will support a wide variety of IU's engagement with China, including faculty and student research, conferences and meetings, short courses, alumni relations, and more. The RCCPB will move into this facility, and its Director, Scott Kennedy, has been appointed the Beijing office's Academic Director. He will be responsible for promoting use of the space by the IU community.

This is IU's second overseas Gateway facility; the first opened in New Dehli in early 2013. Both are managed by IU's Office of the Vice President for International Affairs.

IU is currently recruiting an Office Manager for the Beijing facility. This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the facility and interacting with those in the IU community who use the office. This is a professional position, and IU hopes to find someone with substantial managerial experience in international education or business in China.

Attached is the formal job description, which provides information on how to apply. Questions can be directed to either Margaret Key (ms...@indiana.edu) in the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs or to Scott Kennedy (kenn...@indiana.edu).
