May 17- June 7, 2014

Study at the prestigious Peking University in Beijing (PKU) for three weeks to gain a new perspective on the forces of modernization and globalization. This course examines the Chinese economic, political, governmental and public administration systems, and the role each plays in the developing Chinese civil society. Students spend alternating days in class with the instructors and guest speakers and on other days visit public and private organizations including government agencies, NGOs, and businesses.
