著名的漏洞扫描软件nessus从3.0以后，不再使用GPL协议，但在2.0中还保留。当记者问他为什么更改许可协议时，创始人Ron是这样回答的：这是用户的需求。原话：Ron

use, and a place they can get commercial support and training from if
needed. I'd also like to point out that although Nessus 3 is not
released under the GPL, Tenable is still actively maintaining Nessus 2.
