Guys,

I am sure that some of you already know this but for those that don't
cheap DVB/TV tuners exist that plug in to a computer's USB port. This
allows you to watch TV on your laptop. You can get them for about £20
- much cheaper than the FUNCUBE dongle.

However SOME of these can be used as SDR amateur radio receivers with
the right software and also for other things such as aircraft tracking
and satellite monitoring. Further details are at

you want to try this be quick in acquiring your tuner as the company
who makes the chipset have recently gone bust. There is a list of
tuners at the website I just referenced.
