Dear China GSD members and graduates, 

Summer greetings from Cambridge ! !🌞

As it is slowly approaching to 2016-17 fall semester, China GSD has started exciting preparation work for coming events! 

Not to spoil the big show, but GSD is currently organizing the take-off exhibition of the coming semester on Chinese Architecture! (drum rollllll......) 

 As a student organization with strong member connections, we were approached by the GSD exhibition team and asked to facilitate them on gathering exhibition masses and good suggestions. 

China GSD is also eager to get to know more about the student body and your thoughts regarding the design field in academic and professional settings. We start to throw some most basic questions about the industry in this summer survey just to get a grasp of what our student group is representing.

We prepared a summer survey and kindly ask you to reply China GSD's email with answers of below questions. We will gather the data and share it with everyone later !! =)

Logistic questions :

• Your Program and Graduation Year ( eg. M.Arch I 2017)

• Which city are you based in this summer?

• Are you willing to be a local liaison between selected architecture firms and GSD exhibition team? ( to help communicating between Chinese architecture firms and GSD exhibition crew on gathering drawings/models from architecture firms in your based city)

Clichés :

• Who are your favorite practicing architects in China (list 1-5)

• What about your favorite architecture in China, (list 1-5)

• What architecture firm have you worked in before in China? Will you return to work for them after graduation?

The Big Question:

• What kind of practice do you wish to see in the future practice in China?(feel free to elaborate your most random thoughts for the design industry in all scales in China! The more specific and more random, the better!)

Career Check-in(For graduates only):

• Which year did you graduate form GSD? 

• What happened after GSD? (What company did you go to after school? / What other higher education are you getting?/ Did you go back to home country?)

• Were you able to get H1-B visa sponsored from your employer ? (If not, tell us what happened) 
  

This should be really quick! Please take a couple minutes and answer the questions! We will share the info with every later if anyone is interested!
