Dear members of China GSD,

以下是活动通知

下周二四点到六点在Byerly Hall, 8 Garden Street (in Radcliffe Yard)有GSD限定的活动What a Loving, and Beautiful World,该活动是由日本著名的teamlab设计和策划展出。

I got a sneak preview of the amazing installation and chatted with Yukio Lippit and Kudo-san (teamLab mananger) about next Tuesday's workshop and reception -- it should be a wonderful event. China GSD will enjoy this event --anyone who can read Japanese or Chinese characters will find particular pleasure in interacting with the immersive environment projections... that's the only hint I'll throw out there for now!

This is ONLY for GSD students, cannot miss this great opportunity!!

Information:
On Tuesday afternoon, October 13, Professor Yukio Lippit is organizing an exclusive preview for GSD students of the exhibition: teamLab @ Radcliffe: .  The preview workshop presents a rare opportunity for design students to meet the artists and engineers of the teamLab collaborative.  It will take place from 4-6pm at Byerly Hall, 8 Garden Street (in Radcliffe Yard).

The event will start in the Byerly Classroom with a brief presentation by Prof. Lippit and teamLab, led by Toshiyuki INOKO (founder), Takashi KUDO (manager), and Ikkan SANADA (artistic director).   After Q&A with GSD students, we will go upstairs for a viewing of the interactive gallery installation and enjoy a reception, finishing by 6pm.

About teamLab:
teamLab, formed in 2001, is a collaborative, interdisciplinary creative group that brings together professionals from various fields of practice in digital society: artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, architects, web and print graphic designers and editors.  Referring to themselves as “ultra-technologists,” their aim is to achieve a balance between art, science, technology and creativity. In addition to their numerous works in Japan, team Lab has exhibited installations all over the world, including the USA, UK, France, China, and – most recently - at the Milan Expo 2015.

机会难得,欢迎大家的参加!
