海峡时报消息，在最近的财富世界五百强排名中，中国企业有34家入榜。美国企业跌倒140家，为95年财富排榜开始的最低谷。在34家入榜的中国企业
中，只有一家（沙钢）是私营的，其余皆为国有。外电猜测主要原因是大部分国有企业享有业界垄断专权，给了他们超额利润和规模。
