Be an Advocate for Hope This Christmas!

Greetings Hilda,
During this advent season, we are preparing the way for the Lord's coming. As such we take stock of our lives and the world. As we investigate our world, what do we see? We see communities facing discrimination and violence based on the color of their skin, where they were born, and where they live. We see greed, hate, oppression, and injustice. We are clearly not yet ready to receive the savior we so anxiously and desperately await.
As we hear stories from our Global Mission Fellows in Hong Kong, Nicaragua, Detroit, Germany, and all over the globe, we are filled with hope at the work that God is doing in communities amid the brokenness in our world. We hear how God is working to make all things new, and are reminded of our calling as people of God to engage in this pressing work.
This Christmas season, we are asking you to be an advocate for hope during this time of uncertainty. We want young adults in your networks that are bearing witness to and experiencing injustice to know that they can impact real change through the Global Mission Fellows Program.
On December 15th-31st we are asking you to participate in a media blitz. Below you will find blurbs for bulletins, facebook posts and cover photo, twitter, instagram, and imagery to go with it (also found in the media kit). Will you join us in engaging young adult leaders?
Will you be an advocate for young adult service and leadership in our church? Will you help us build this movement of young adults?

The Global Mission Fellows Program is looking for young adults 20-30 to put their faith in action! Participate in a 2-year social justice based mission opportunity living and working in communities in the US and around the world that address the root causes of oppression and alleviate human suffering. The Global Mission Fellows Program is looking for passionate Christian young adults that have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent life experience to utilize their God given gifts and talents in dynamic placement sites where they will have an opportunity to develop leadership skills.
