WHAT
So, as we spoke today, Edyta and I came up with the suggestion to have a regular meeting among the new sales members of Social Blue, with two main focus:
- To share experiences, discuss good practices, offer tips, bring success and fail examples, ask for advices etc.
- To bond and strengthen the team spirit. We are global and play with battles and competitions, but in the end of the day we are 1 company, and if the company wins, everybody wins.
Bart likes the idea and will see if he can structure something after talking with Leigh and Matt, but in the meantime we can go on “informally” among ourselves.
WHO
The idea is to have the 5 newbies (Marcelo, Edyta, Harry, Nancy and Noel) + 1 veteran in each meeting.
Maider has kindly accepted the invitation to be our first special guest. Thanks, Mai! ☺
WHEN
I think a good frequency would be every two weeks for the first 3 to 6 months, and a monthly meeting after that. But I guess we will have a better idea of that frequency after the first events.
The ideal time would be at 15:00 in Hoorn, 14:00 in London and 09:00 in Toronto. The first meeting is set for the 6th of February.
HOW
I think it would be ideal to see each other, so we must try to Skype or Video-call. I would like to ask 1 person from each office to arrange the necessary structure.
WAIT!
What about each one brings a topic to be discussed in each meeting? It can be an example, a suggestion, a question, a tip request a success or failure case etc.
This way we have an average 10 minutes to discuss each topic and finish the meeting in one hour.
