Cheat 720 Kick

Played in a casual game just a few minutes ago and ended up on the same team as a cheater with a Medic bot on him. When I tried to votekick him it kept saying "You cannot currently kick this player." in the pop-up window or something similar. The same thing happened when the others in the team tried to kick him.
I did some digging and couldn't find anti-kick or any similar feature for the most common suspects but it looks like a few people at least already encountered unkickable players/bots so it's not entirely out of the question that it's some new feature they're testing.
It definitely is a cheat or an exploit. I remember in the past that if you use an URL or some special characters it wouldn't be possible for you to get kicked and/or your name on the kick list would appear all mangled up.
This could potentially be a side effect of some changes they made to kicking a while ago. Like not being able to call a vote on the same player consecutively if it failed in the past or something like that.
I'm pretty sure this shows a different message similar to the one when you're on normal cooldown from having called a vote. Either way we had been on there much longer than 5 mins with the same people trying and being unable to start a votekick.
Hoy dia 20/07/2021 tras actualizar el juego me daba el mismo error, lo solucione en los archivos del propio juego ejecutando el archivo EAC_luncher el cual me daba error dado que al actualizarse se habia duplicado la carpeta del anti cheats y dentro de este se habia cambiado el orden, lo coloque todo de nuevo y listo el luncher detectaba lo q necesitaba
This is the first time I have ever been kicked for this supposed reason. The only thing I did different prior to that match was undervolt my cpu to improve temps on my system. As the screenshot shows, I have MSI/RT stats up, which I have had up for months while playing the game. So with that said, why would I have been kicked?

I have realised on FM12 that there are FAR too many goals from near post headers from corners and freekicks. in a game myself and 2 of my friends have going both of them had their corners set to aim at near post and nearly every corner or freekick there is a goal or at least a very close chance with a goal line clearance. one of them even scored 4 near post headers against me in one game. i have been arguing with them about it to stop using it because (unlike most annoying teenagers) we dont like using cheat tactics like this in FM. just wondering has anyone else experienced this, im sure you have. sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum , wasnt sure where to post it
This was an issue in FM11 and before the patch on FM12 but I havent been noticing it as much after patch 12.1. Thought it was no longer an issue, but maybe thats just me. If its still around then I guess its up to you to use it or not. I have personally set my corners on mixed so as not to take advantage of this in the past.
I understand why people get annoyed at this, but all you're doing is aiming a corner at the near post. If the AI can't handle this then that's hardly your fault. The developers at SI should bring out a counter patch to stop it, or if it exists, then it's part and parcel of the game. It existed on FM 2011 and it still exists on FM 2012, as far as I'm concerned it's obviously been overlooked, so is therefore perhaps allowed.
In real life, if a football team knew they could perhaps steal a goal or two from a near post corner routine, of course they'd be using it. But if any of you feel that it's 'cheating' and opt to set your routines to 'mixed', then feel free.
I never scored many goals from corners on the near post but I have received good number of them. Wanted to punch out my screen after loosing like that in 90th minute few times. Ofc Murphy says it was oppositions only shot on target
PaulC recognised this was a problem with some teams having a DC score too many goals from corners. The discussion took place in the long 'FM12 is too easy' thread. He tweaked it for the patch and now it's fixed (according to him) or too hard (according to some players).
well if u want to exploit what i clearly think is a glitch. i think they just basically aim all corners at the near post and have their best headerer of the ball attacking the near post and another good headerer of the ball doing near post flick ons
It's not a glitch. Having the ball going to the near post takes out almost all of the defenders who are potentially able to clear the ball, and having your best jumper/headerer in the team attacking that position takes advantage of that fact.
it is a glitch, its not realistic that from every corner there is either a goal or a goal line clearance/ near chance! i had 2 defenders marking the near post agaisnt this corner tactic , i had the rest of my defenders designated so that everyone was covered but its impossible to defend agaisnt. it doesnt happen in real life and is clearly a glitch. if you cant see that then you must watch games in real life where there are 2 goals from near post corner headers in nearly every game. its a fault in the game
Wow hang on a minute and slow down. You're comparing FM to real life football? If that's the case we could very well rip the match engine to shreds, and the choices available to us on the tactical set-up screens.
FM is a simulation of real life football management, nothing more. Although it tries very hard to produce a realistic experience, and in most cases achieves great results, there will be times when things don't quite go to plan.
There once was a time where I had vidic score 10 in 8. I set it up for him to be alone at the far post and aimed towards the far post. After his 10 goals I switched it to mixed and I've not had a problem with the amount of goals I've scored from corners since.
i fully understand that and agree with the point your making. however i have merely identified a specific and obvious glitch and fault with the game where a goal can be scored from almost every corner. obviously the game cannot mimic real life football in perfect detail and comparison, but this specific glitch is more or less a cheat in the game to score lots and lots of goals which i am totally opposed to as i want my FM experience to be as real to life as possible
I experienced this for about 4 seasons in my save but this seems much less frequent now. Maybe the latest patch addressed the issue. All I can say is my defender is now scoring much less goals and it seems more realistic, may just be a coincidence though.
Hey guys, been playing the game over the last week for 32hrs totally now, but suddenly just in a raid on (Factory) I was kicked due to (lost connection due to anti-cheat) or something in them words anyway. I was sent back to the start menu and now I have (3% AWOL) standing. I have never quit a raid and now I get this, is there anyway to remove this standing as it isn't fair I think?

Oh god is this STILL happening? I have been taking a break for about 4 months and was thinking about jumping back in, and back then this was a serious issue that randomly happened over and over to some people back before I quit last :/. What would happen back then is you would get disconnected and have a "Due to anti cheat" message, but then it would let you reconnect, but after 30s every time you reconnect it would just do it again, until you can't reconnect anymore at which point you just lose everything and get AWOL.
@Straafe no mate, not as you say (over and over), in 32/34 hours played the past few days alone I have had it just once. But the reason I am so bothered about it is because of the AWOL thing. Though it seems to not be such a big problem anyways so.
Yeah it was yesterday right? Same happened to me WITH reconnect option each time i reconnected, kicked me out after 5-10 seconds. I guess i was killed cause last time i entered someone was shooting at me. Well lost some good gear but what's new eh?
only way to fix it is to dmz your router but thats dangerous. they need to fix this as there are a ton of people that can no longer play the game. i get this after 10 mins in the raid then can never log back in. when i do log in i get a server connection lost. getting really frustrating
3. Install Launcher second time. !MAYBE THATS SOLUTION!: If you installed EFT Launcher and EFT Game on the same disc before. Try to install launcher and game on DIFFERENT disc. (exemple: I have game on "C" disc and launcher on "D" disc)
People here are upset that the anti-cheat is being aggressive or then complaining when a hacker or sketchy situation happens, it's almost like BSG can't win with the damned if you do and damned if you don't argument.
With the large influx of new players there is also a lot of garbage going on with script kiddies. I am more than happy to be disconnected every now and then, during this time period of weeding out, if it is the result of the team aggressively going after these clowns.
So deal with a disconnect every now and then or deal with a script kiddie getting his lulz on, choose your battles because your fight should not be with an aggressive developer. Give them a little time to adapt and learn the new tricks, trust me when I say they sure in the hell shut down a LOT of bad stuff over time and this is no different. Maybe take some peace of mind that most assuredly some people that simply fail at life are losing accounts.
