Hi Guy's, just want to let you know that I am still here. I have been
watching and reading from the sidelines and it is all very exciting
stuff. I am glad that there has been this wind of change and it comes
not before time. Out with the stagnation. Out with moribund ideas. In
with innovation, renewed minds and a host of beautiful red hot chili
themes. Now that has to be good.

For me it comes almost too late as I am now in my final stages. Maybe
I can last out to see 2012 come in, I hope so, but if not then it has
been a wonderful innings. 79 aint that bad, is it now?

I have one tiny chili growing near my bed. Very tiny too. But it keeps
me in hot spicy food and I am grateful for that. Tried to buy some
finely powdered Habanero, but apparently it is illegal to send from
the States on account of it might be a terrorist substance. How crazy
can the world get? Here in the Old Country, you can buy Habs fresh or
dried, but not powder. That really stuns me as I wonder why? Never
mind, eh?
Hope to be reading some interesting and spicy articles now that the
dust is settling. Go to it and know that I am here sharing it with you
all. Regards. Walt. An old chili head from the old country.

Hi Walt,

Long time and your right, look forward and proceed.
Good to see the old members also join the new list, but only 73 members yet
Think we need to do some more advertising on the GG list.
How much CH are there still, I thought I heard some decades ago of over 1500
members, or was I dreaming?

Cheers Walt and yes 79 isn't bad, but 80+ is even better, so hang on!
Rob.

No need....there's been MORE than enough traffic about it... But, the
fact that there are only 73 people signed on so far is no big deal,
as the existing list is still alive and reasonably well (except for the
lack of any admin when needed, wrong instructions when signing up that
there's no one to fix, etc.). Before it matters, even lurkers should
be well aware of the new list and how to join it.

Hi Rob, good to know that you are still in the 'Heat' and enjoying it. Ok on
the 79 isn't bad but 80+ is even better. Sadly there ain't no chance of me
making it that far, not this time. I shall be lucky if I clear Christmas,
but then my specialist is talking about maybe Radiotherapy to try and give
me a while longer. But I shall have to see, next visit, if they want to go
ahead.

Back on subject Rob. My dear wife Babs is in need of Capsicum Gel for a
nerve pain in her leg. I have been buying her capsicum gel from Thailand,
but it is not strong enough. She gets this lump comes up and it is one
terrible pain experience. Sometimes the Thailand Gel works, but more often
than not it fails. Do you know where I could get her something stronger?
Her doctor will only give her painkillers which make her drowsy and thats no
use to her. He is not into Chili therapy worse luck. Surely there must be
something available OTC?

Rob, do you know of a source for Red Savina Habanero powder? Powdered not
flaked. Not a trace of it in the UK and wondered if you have come up against
it where you are. Don't lose any sleep over it Rob. Nice if some turned up
though. Every blessing Rob. Walt. An old Chili Head from the Old Country.

Hi Walt,

Sorry to hear that, just stay positive as long as possible.
I've did look around for Capsicum gel, had never heard about it, and found
the Thai version Babs is using I guess, at this site.
http://beautiquethai.auctivacommerce.com/Abhai-herbal-Capsicum-gel-muscular-
pain-relief-25g-P1696345.aspx

Also fond this one at Ali Express, it's a very good site for all kind of
china products I've good experience with it.
Looks that chilli cream is also working for for slimming, probably the same
cream or gel as the thai one

But also this one in the US... one for pain relief.

And about Red savina powder, the only source I know is Jim Campbell

Hope this helps
Kind regards
Rob
